I am one to two weeks from harvest and have been fighting spider mites with neem. I dont want to neem anymore due to harvest time getting closer.

I see no webs or spiders now but still see eggs under the leafes



This is not my pic but this is what i see under the scope but I only have one or two on a leave not in the cluster like in the pic.

Does anyone know or think that over the years of smoking the we have smoked spider mites in bag weed?

And do the spider mites also leave the eggs in the bud or just under the leaves?

I posted the other day about giving the buds a soak in water before drying them and it was stated that the bugs would just hold there breath while under water. is this true? And what will the water do to the quality of the smoke?

nothing you can really do but smoke 'em. they crackle and pop when burnt.

neem isnt good to use in flower. its good in the veg stage to ward them off ..use pyrethrins (safer's brand End all 2). but its too late it seems. one batch went all yellow and i couldnt figure what was wrong so harvest was early. didnt know it was mites untill they showed up on batch #2. got the fuckers this time, but i didnt taste them in the first batch

I don't know the answer to this problem, but I had to fight those nasty little fuckers until harvest myself, and when I did harvest, I ended up trimming all the shade leafs and kept them in there pots and in the dark for 2 more days hoping that I would slow down the mites but give the plants time to finish up. Seems to have worked, I trimmed them up after the 2 days, and they have been hanging for 3 days. No out break so far, and I figure that after 5 days the outside of the bud will be to dry for them to live on...GL, post up on what you end up doing...

i sprayed once with pyrethrins and they all died... I was told that pyrethrins are pretty much used on all produce and you've probably had some on ur food at one point.

You sprayed with pyrethrins and it cured the problem, not killed your plant right? I just used a .01% pyrethrins and 1% canola oil to control caterpillars for the next couple weeks and i'm hoping like hell it doesn't burn, kill, or poison the weed. Thanks to anyone that has some insight.

Does safers make a bomb fumigator since I cant get to all my plants to hand spray? I used neem from day 1 and endedup getting spider mites first time ever and have tried organic hand sprays but it just makes them angry so Im gonn ahve to bomb and the only stuff i can find is doktor doom but no where close I have to order it to fog the room and the maker says do 3 times one very 4 days to end the life cycle. I had bugssssssssss

Ya it was the bugs that all died. And the herb turned out nicely.


I dont know about the bomb, It seems like you have a lot more going than i did so I'd be in over my head if i gave any advice...sorry

why isnt neem oil good for flowering?

i was told that is wasent useful when they are in flower. I think neem is a preventative spray and if you have em then it doesn't get them off
