Hi is anyone here using a Diamond Grow Light With 400W Grolux Dual Spectrum Lamp(or any wattage,400 is what i want to buy) and if so have you noticed the 10-30% claimed increase in yield?

how did you like your diamond light?

I'd say it's quite possible to get 10-30% more (probably closer to 10%). Normal reflectors bounce the light directly above the bulb right back at the light bulb... that reflector angles it outward. It's more efficient than other reflectors simply because it makes use of otherwise unused light. Other reflectors may be made of more reflective material but that reflector has ideal angles. Although, the point right above the bulb shouldn't be so sharp. Only a slight angle above the bulb is needed to reflect the light around the bulb... that angle reflects it more to the sides than it does down.
