I have that high times issue and read that. I need everything to happen faster, but occasionally I do lose a few. ROck wool is very finicky. I like the rapid rooter plugs, because you can water them from the bottom. I put out a little bed of hydroton in tupper ware, and then put my clones in the cubes after trimming and rooting gel. Then water with Thrive ALive B-1 Red, (i guess I soak the cubes with this too before putting the clones in). Spray foliage daily with Thrive ALive B1 green. ALways keep the some water in the ydroton in the bottom of dish. ALl is done in a humidity dome.

I may have to give that a try. How fast do yours root with that method?

To speed up growth, I'm going be planting between 2-4 clones in every 5 gallon bucket. One should come out dominant and end up taking over much of the other plant's root systems. It's like a little jump start. We'll see how things go.

Update:

I've included a couple pics of some of my clones as something to look forward to

Things are coming along. As of yesterday, I've stopped giving it nutes. I hoped I've timed the flushing okay??

Let me know if you guys think I should give her one more good feeding or not. I don't have a microscope, but my super keen eyes tell me that at least 2/3 of the trichs are milky at this point. I haven't noticed amber yet.

I realize, too, that the leaves are responsible for photosynthesis blah blah so tell me, does trimming some of the big leaves off increase yield?

Please do not give me an opinion, please say whether it does or doesn't help. If you've never tried, then I don't see how you could possibly have an answer. I want somebody who has witnessed both techniques.

Second question, does flushing with molasses water really increase yield? Seems to me like all that would do is attract a shit load of flies to my soil. Again, I'm looking for good information, so pretend I'm growing this weed for YOU so you actually give a damn if it turns out right.

Don't mean to sound like a jerky or anything, just looking for good straight advice from knowledgable people who aren't just trying to increase their post count. Thanks all!
Your girls look like they can stand another couple of weeks of flowering. At this point, in my opinion trimming some of the fan leaves to let more light to your buds is a good thing. They're not really growing greenery, they're putting their energy into making thc. They are doing everything they can to attract some pollen. Molasses, the secret ingredient in many a finishing product for buds. Get yourself some Grandma's unsulphered molasses. Almost any grocery chain carries it, it's probably right next to the pancake syrup. It has a yellow label. You can add up to twenty percent weight on your buds by adding molasses. After the third week of flowering I start adding a tablespoon or two per gallon of water. The last ten days I use only water.

Sweet is another of those products for buds and it comes in either citrus or berry, botanicare is the maker.

Definitely. I've been adding molasses for the past several weeks. I should have started a few weeks earlier than I did, but no going back now.

Does anyone else have thoughts on timing the flushing for this strain? If you say it still has 3 weeks left I'll go ahead and give her at least one more feeding. Otherwise, I plan to give her a few more doses of molasses water before the final water-only flush.

And to possibly avoid confusion, only the closest plant in each picture is strawberry cough. There are two other flowering bagseed plants under the same light.....I'm not very concern with them.

I smoked the last of my SC buds this week... (the last clone harvested 6 months ago). Seeing this grow makes my mouth water for that strain so badly... it grew a fat cola(like yours) and had a smell almost like a lemony citrusy strawberry. Seeing these pictures is going to make me spend money on some seeds that I don't need .

I'd say you still had another 1-2 weeks. I would flower my SC for almost 10 weeks until I started to see some amber patches. Personally I think my SC turned out most potent when I'd let it get that little bit of amber... But to each their own.

Yeah this strain is definitely delicious. Some guy mentioned strawberry chunk in another thread and said that it was even BETTER than strawberry cough. Might want to look into that if you're serious about getting more seeds bro.

I did end up giving this plant another feeding a few days ago, and as of last night they look like they're enjoying the nutrients. If the dirt is dry enough I think I will give them one more light feeding tonight before starting the final flush.

@monkz,
Yeah I will definitely be pruning from now on. Thanks

Well they've had about a week to grow. I've topped some two of the clones, and I'm trying LST of the other two. Here are the results...

I finally got a 100% success rate using a method I found in a High Times. Well, 100% with the 16 cuttings I've taken so far. You'll want to find a healthy cutting 6-9 inches long. Cut it and remove all but the newest growth on top and 2-3 fan leaves. I'm using miracle gro organic soilless mix. Fill a solo cup up with dirt. Apparently you can choose whether or not you wish to drill holes in the bottom of the cup, but I do. Next I take a clean 20 oz bottle and add a little rooting hormone gel. It's in my "lights off" room at the moment so I can't tell you the brand. Anways, add 20 oz of water to a .5g-1g sized glob of rooting gel and shake well. All you have to do is stick the cutting in the dirt filled solo cup and water it with the new mixutre.

My white widow plants showed root tips out of the holes in the bottoms of their cups about 2 weeks after cutting. The strawberry cutting took about 2 1/2 weeks to show roots at the bottom of the cup.
Nice, im gettin ready to take some clones from my plants, i will probably be using this method, sounds nice and easy...
