First HID Grow: Couple Bagseeds, Jock Horror

Update: Bagseed #1 is really starting to take off! Not even two weeks since it popped through the soil! White Rhino and Pineapple Express have both popped through; and there's a lot of stretching. Weird because the bagseed's didn't stretch much at all, maybe the Indica/Sativa difference?

Anyways, here's some current photos, each picture is named including what strain and date. I'm topping Bagseed #1 in a couple days!

10-25-09 Update - I think Bagseed #1 & #2 came form the same bag lol; they share a lot of similarities!

Looks like a good start man, hey FYI feminized seeds are by no means guaranteed females. The just have a better chance, and sometimes not much better. Hope that helps alittle. I wish i could assist you more on the seedlings but I'm never in dirt anymore, so there are people better than me to help out. Keep it up!

for ur nutes question, dont give them anything till they are three to four weeks of age unless you see signs of a nitro def around week two-three..good luck.. looking good

Thanks man. I think I'm going to veg for about 4-6 weeks so I might use the nutes only once before I put it into flowering.

Update: My MH bulb decided to blow yesterday but I am getting a replacement sent already. For now I am using the AgroMax 400W HPS; you guys think this would stress the plants at all or harm the vegging period? (Slow plant growth, etc.)

i only use HPS for grow cycle,i get a good 1.5'-2' in 3 weeks before i put in bloom so i don't see it hurting u at all

What brand of ballast are you using? If you're using Lumatek they are very finicky about which lights they will work with. Ive read a few threads about them not working well with AgroMax.

Digital Greenhouse ballast. I think I just turned the bulb off & turned it back on too quickly. (Was unplugging from wall & plugging into a timer)

Update: I topped Bagseed #1 tonight and hopefully everything works out with the plant and the clone! Looks like the HPS is doing just fine

October 31st...Halloween Update!!

I topped Bagseed #2 last night, again following Uncle Ben's method for 4 new colas. Bagseed #1 is exploding with new growth; only been a couple days since I topped it. Jock Horror has also started to blow up in size & is growing faster and faster everyday. It will be the next plant getting topped. White Rhino is a bit behind Pineapple Express which popped the same day WR did. I'm excited for these next months...
