You said you do not have the funds for a MH right now and I took that to mean a complete MH light setup.

If I was correct in that assumption might you have the funds for a MH conversion bulb that would work with your HPS ballast and then have both MH for vegging and HPS for flowering all from the one light system?

Or even better, if you have enough for a switchable ballast so you could run both MH and HPS from the same ballast and not need to use a conversion bulb but again getting both light spectrums from one light system.
