I am in the process of setting up an indoor grow. The room is 9x12x10. I am going to build a grow table within this room that measures 8x4, for a total of 32 sq. ft. The table will be illuminated by two 1000 watt hps lights. I will be using the sog method with CO2 injection. My question is, how big can I actually make the table without losing performance. 32 sq. ft. seems like a really small area for two 1000 watters. I have heard that a good grow room has 50-80 watts/ sq. ft. I would like to get as many plants under these two lights without losing performance. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
