I hope you do not mind if I ask a few questions:
How tall is your canopy?
How far are your lights spaced from each other and plants? I am interested on how close people generally put parabolic hoods?
Bulbs Horizontal? Vertical?

bulbs are vertical.. undortunately my canopy height is 3ft .. each hoood is four foot wide sitting side by side.. bulbs r kept about 10 inches from canopy

I have a 42" Xtra Sun parabolic, If i bought anouther one, would you put the bulbs in horizontally or vertically?
10" from the tip of the bulb?
How deep our your reflectors?

my hood is prob 12-15 inches deep and i keep the actual bulb 10 inches from the canopy.. and my bulbs in both are horizontal so the canopy is ten inches from the bottom side of the bulb

at the 750w setting i keep them six inches away at the 1000w i have them at ten inches.. also a important note is i have three fans blowin directly across canopy to prevent hotspots and burning
