hello got my week and 12 days seedlings doing well, i usualy transplant at 2 weeks, but with this grow i have changed my seedling pots and noticed that already a lot of tap roots are showing thru the drainage holes.

is this time to repot and are the roots at risk being exposed to air, ??

PS ive noticed a rapid increase in a need for watering aswell

I always line any container I use with newspaper. It keeps roots from coming through the drainage holes, and helps to conserve water. And to answer your question, yes, I'd repot, only this time with newspaper.
