Hey ya'll!

I'm pretty much clueless right here. I want to start my new grow session, but im stuck with a serious problem. I DONT HAVE A PLACE TO GROW AT! So im fucked at the beging. i had a house for myself for a year, but it's out of the picture for now. I've been looking at apartments and garages to rent, and I've also been thinking if i have anyone who could land me some space for the purpose. I try to be careful enough, so I rather not rent anything from a stranger. something could always slip out.
So I'm hoping to get some ideas from you guys, if you have any revolutionary ideas to choose a place for indoor growing. I thought of a million things, but they all seem too risky. Help me out please, im sure it would benifit a lot of fellows here.
Im also interested in cheating with rental information or anything of that type. I just want it to be secure.

As long as its around 3ft tall and 2x2 wide you should be able to grow a couple of small plants. Remember, just about anything is useful; in your closet in a small, used cabinet you found at the thrift store, an old semi-large computer case, one of those large tubs you store things in, etc. As long as you use a smell scrubber and have proper ventilation your good. I've known people who managed small plants under their bed, anything is possible.

im thinking of around 6O roots here, so i would need atleast a mid size empty room. But im also intrested in making a grow room out of a computer case. I gatta try that, just have to figure out how! Do you have any further info on how to set up the "room"?

You'll need a good sized full-tower case. If possible try to find the old AT tower cases (instead of the normal pc atx panel in the back, you just have a larger round hole for the keyboard and a few extra ports) 'cause you're gonna be doing some modifications and those are pretty much worthless these days for anyone but those interested in 'classic' PCs. Don't use a case with a window on the side especially if using 12/12.

Next, you rip out the drive bays (cdrom/hd) and anything else that would take up room. A Dremel will be useful, some cases are flimsy so be prepared to do a little re-enforcement with a little wood.

Next, you'll want to get your wiring for the lights and exhaust fans laid out, once that is complete you'll want to seal off any areas where light will come in, unused fan vents, etc.

Once done, set it up, stick a couple of plants in it and you should be good to go. I know people who have used old tower cases. A friend of mine used an aluminum Lan-Li 1000-something-or-other case that was absolutely HUGE (and expensive) for his grow. Worked out great since the aluminum dissipated heat good and he had ample room.

If you decide to go this route, post pics, I'll provide whatever help I can (I've modded a few cases in my time).

As for a general grow room, look for maybe a trailer or someone renting unused (but separated) warehouse space. Its always best to rent from someone you know and trust, power usage and heat is gonna be high for that amount of plants so you might show up on radar if not careful. Good luck in your search!

If you cannot figure out how to do it w/o involving other people you are increasing your risks ten fold.

This is very true and very good advice. The more people you get involved the higher the risks, add to that, how differently people act when it comes to stuff like weed. People you think you can trust with anything can change/turn around on you.

Its just not worth it, unless you can find a place to rent where the owner lives a few states away and its out of the way/never checked. Even then be paranoid as hell. That many plants can get you in a *LOT* of trouble if your not extremely careful.
