I know she is small, but there was a terrible accident 1 week ago (the first day of flowering) that snapped the stem about 4 inches high. It was about 12 inches before. All of the small leaves you see are new growth within the last week. I had vegged for five weeks. I kept the 12/12 cycle going anyway. The other four were males so turns out I messed up my only female. I decided to add the two 175 watt metal halides to the side (to complement the 400 watt hps on top) because I think this will help her grow more greenery back that I broke off. I am not sure if this is an overkill for this small plant. Any thoughts? Thanks

Also does anyone think I am wasting my time trying to continue to flower her?

The plant looks like its to far away from the 400watter above to me but because its a photo i cant really tell,the ideal distance is really about 12" as far as i know anyway,that is without seriously cooling the lamps down.

I would say do not give up on that plant,move it 12" away from the above hps and put it back to a veg cycle for 2-3 weeks to get better results from it,if you continue to flower it now without veg it should if moved closer to the above hps light still grow up to 18" taller,though probably nearer to 12" by the the time its finished.

If you take the advice of going back to vegging for a couple of weeks make sure you provide it with a high nitrogen fertilizer,but do not over fertilize it just use the recommended doses

If it were me.Id go back to veg for a week since its gonna take time to heal anyway.Pull a few clones since you know its female then in 2 weeks youd have 6 females to go back in full and ready for 12/12 flowering.Your already gonna have a slow period from the damge as it recoups so might as well get some more girls even take a clone and use it as a mother so by time this grow is done you have a mom with females ready to go right into 12/12 and save yourself 5 or 6 weeks of time next round.Good luck

Thank you guys for the advice. I did move the hps closer and she is thriving under all that wattage. I know you guys know more than I do but I decided to keep up the 12/12 cycle. After all it was just bagseed. I want to get this first grow out the way because I have some nirvana PPP seeds on the way.
Anyone have any experience with this strain?

PPP is very strong shit and i used it in my cross breeding a couple of years ago,was a bit on the small side but that might have been because i was using cheap fluro tubes.
I loved PPP,very crystalized,buds dried up nice and hard,doesnt like to be overfed though so make sure you let her dry out a bit between waterings and feedings and if you want the best results filter the water

Natmoon, thanks for the advice. Were the PPP seeds you used from Nirvana? I ordered the femenized seeds because I was so pissed off to get 4/5 males. Here are some updated pics of my little wounded soldier. She is coming back strong and I am starting to think I will get a decent yield(for one plant). How do the little hairs (not sure what you guys call them) look for 10 days into flowering? Those little hairs are popping up everywhere!

Yeah mine were from nirvana,all they are is nirvanas cheaper version copies/remakes wateva you want to call it of a strain called crystal,i wouldnt know if the genuine crystal seeds are any better or not.

Just on another note,never buy feminized seeds,they are well expensive, if your that desperate to make sure you dont end up with males just soak the seeds in a little water in a jar mixed with 2 womens crushed contraceptive pills for 3 days and youll basically have 80% fems anyway,i found this tip years ago in an old pot book,i think it may have been by howard marx.

As to the yield off of your plant i wouldnt know mate as i dont know how big it is,put a bottle of yeast and sugar in the room on a tray to increase co2 and change it once a week and feed the soil blackstrap molasseses once a week,1 big dolloped teaspoon of molasses in a litre of water is what im using but there are others who use different amounts and feeding schedules,and that should help to fatten whatever you get off of it.

The reason this makes more females is that basically the contraceptive pill is full of estrogen and this soaks into the seed whilst its sprouting/splitting and does a good job of making it female,it wont turn a true male into a female though but does give about 8 out 10.

I used to do this years ago but now i just make my own seeds for the most part and buy in new seeds once a year to cross with my own creations.
I am going to buy 10 hashberry from mandala seeds very soon to mix up with my own strain,and i actually want a male if im lucky as i can pollinate the females and end up with a load of good f1 seeds,anyway hope this is of some help to you,peace
