Do they loose potency if you do this? I would hope not.. cause the longer ya keep a mother the better chance bugs/mold could destroy her..

you can definitely clone from a clone. i have a couuple clones that i turned into bonsai mums producing just as potent of nugs as the original from seed. I am pretty sure you can even continue the line of clones a few more generations before worrying. thats my experience anyway.
