Ive grown out bagseeds 4 times. This is the first time ive took a sling at a good strain. Ak-47 from high grade seeds. They were very fast shipping and descreat packaging. Ive done one hempy bucket before and it turned out pretty good so im going all hempy buckets for this grow. On 9/14 i germed 8 seeds. Paper towel style its never failed me. 1253548345.jpg. They soaked on the cable box for two days and all cracked with very nice tails. 1253548360.jpg. They where all put into 100% perlite tails down just like a soil grow on 9/16. 1253548375.jpg. 9/17 they had all spouted. 1253548435.jpg. It was a shock to me that all of them came up so quick. So im going to let them veg under 10 t8 bulbs for a bit to get used to life. 1253548408.jpg. At some point i will put a 600w over them. Trying to deside if i want to buy a mh bulb. I have a new hps bulb comming that will be used for flower. They are 11 days in perlite today. With the one day sprout im calling today day 10 of life. Watching hempies for the first 2 weeks is very slow and painful. Today is really the first time ive noticed even the smallest bit of growth. But at 14 to 18 days hemies take off and grow like crazy. I cant wait. Please chime in with advise, ideas, and comments. The pics at the last are from today. I hope they become monsters!!

i've had luck with starting in soil in a cup and then going to hempy after a week or so of veg. I am probably starting another hempy grow in the next few weeks. How long are you planning on vegging?

im in pretty good supply shape so they veg to preflower. I would think 5 to 6 weeks?? Going to take 10 clones right before flower and have a big time.

Slow slow slow slow is the topic for today. They are starting to show growth. I believe that all 8 are going to make it. Its the first time that ive had 100% success with hempy buckets. Well at least i think it will be 100%. Now if i just get good female to male ratios ill be smilin ear to ear, but thats a ways away. The 2 pics i left are the same plant 70 hrs apart and a shot of my last hempy that was about 2 weeks from harvest.

Finally there has been some!! Growing going on in the room. Not alot but still some. The plants have had 1 application of nutes and will get their second 10/2. Just a couple pics that where takin today.

Looking good DUDE!, keep it up............I hate how slow seedlings grow at first.

So used to clones that just explode when they get roots - seedlings drive my patience to the limit.

true that on the seeds and clones. I will be takin ten clones from the ak47 for my next grow. It will be some form of hydro. Now sure what form yet!!!

All the plants got a full dose of nutes last night. The pot reserve was filled for the first time. There are a few plants that are a bit behind. I like to see that though. In my exp those are usually female that do well in the end. The pics are from last night.

I had to come up with names this go around. There a first time for everyhing!!!!! Names are as follows

plant 8=cover girl
plant 7=ivory
plant 6=elizabeth arden
plant 5=maybelline
plant 4=burberry
plant 3=avon
plant 2=celine
plant 1=brownie

as you can see most all the names are make-up brands. I think this will keep my wife into it more and really they all make pretty good names.

Btw yes celine's dumb ass has her own line of make-up

oh, the name brownie on plant 1. You can tell from the pics which one she is (thats a dirty bitch)
