they be green as hell and all i feed it is schultz 10-15-10

my next round will be MG organic with blood meal, bone meal, ewc, kelp meal, lime and greensand

those plants are gonna rock i can't wait

5 weeks into flowering on HEAVY SATIVAS????? I think not.. 5 weeks wasn't even halfway as long as i let them flower.... Some sativas take up to 4 months to flower...

I use to be a MG defender... I said all the same things.. You can grow perfectly with MG you just have to know its nice and hot when you start so make sure you donot feed anything for about 3 -4 weeks... only water.

But now that i have compared to other soils... including ffof.... I have to say that if you are growing in MG you are missing out. Its not that it doesnt grow fat and right... its that the smell and taste suffers... and i mean the end result flushed shit.

If you want bad ass tasting and smelling bud then you gotta keep it as organic as you can. And dont even bother with MG organic... just trust me.

15$ for a good bag of roots organics soil or ffof is all you need. true though that they are weaker than MG in my opinion (although some people have problems with clones...but i think its because they water with a low 200 ppm on fresh soil..) ..use water only for 2 weeks and then start with low feedings.. 300-400 max...

give the thread "fertilizing wisely" in my sig a go... i think you'll find it very useful.

bottom line is i am not driving an hour to get easy, expensive soil or have dirt shipped to my house full of bugs

when i can just go to the 'depot and get a couple bags of mg organic for like 10 bucks

to be honest i like the challenge

i spent 50 bucks on all those ammendments and i have enough to last me for like 5 years

i should be able to use straight ph'd, tepid water from clone all the way to harvest ... so essentially, i'm flushing the entire grow

as we speak i have some going in MG organic. first and last time user. i brought this bag of MG organic home opened it right away and found it to be FULL of gnat like flys. took it back for another . so i planted 1 in straight MG 2 in 50/50 MG potting soil and 2 in straight potting soil. the first in straight MG burnt badly, bad enough for me to change it out for the 50/50 mix.the ones already in the 50/50 are not growing worth a broke dick and the ones in straight soil are beatin em all BUT i did use some of that shultzes i think its called at 1/4 strength. and i will also throw the fact that even after getting a new bag of MG the eggs of those fly like bugs have now hatched , although they have not caused a problem i am sure they will. i am doing this grow to practice cloning and lst and maybe some other things after this i will go hydro as i am already set up for it .
