that will be perfect, main thing is you don't want those damn time release ferts to pop while you are giving it other nutes cause you will be over nuting.. the FF ocean Forest is the way to go, looks like you are on the road to having a better grow

FF Ocean Forest is definitely worth it... i pay 22$ for a 15cf bag up in Rhode Island... still worth it to me. Of course this all depends if you sell a little of your stash to make back your cost of growing.

just because you can't figure it out ... doesn't mean it won't work

i think the best part of growing pot is tending to my plants

if you just throw em in uber FF and watch them grow, how is that fun?

i hope my plants have some sort of deficiency or burn so i can figure out how to fix it

this is how i learned to fix computers ... by messing them up and figuring it out

Not sure re: the regular MG soil, but the MG/MoistureControl type recommends user start adding nutes after 30 days.
For more info on MG nutes, see Osmocote. It's the same stuff, IMO.

Not that we are scraed to give the MG grown plants nutes, but you would have to give the plants at least half of the reccomended dosage per feeding to avoid nuteburn.. To me that is not the way to grow, but I guess everyone has their own style. I like to put my plant on the edge of nuteburn, without actually harming the plants.. I was doing this quite well until the MG F'd me in the A.. my own fault I guess, but all could have been avoided if I had a controlled growing medium. MG is to unstable for mystyle, I also am the type to tend to my plants regularly... I treat them as if they were my children....

All I can say is that HANDS DOWN my best ever plant was grown with half miracle grow and half vermiculite... It's a decent soil if it has something else added to make it less "hot" to prevent nutrient burn. I use FF Ocean Forest now and grow just as well, only I like the organic side of it. MG can grow a damn good plant and I don't care who says it can only grow a mediocre plant. The only reason I pay so much more for FF Ocean Forest is because it's organic and a lot more forgiving for PH and nutrient levels... or else I'd still use MG with vermiculite and perlite.
