QUESTION (and i feel bad asking since its relatively simple and pathetic really but i know someone will know)
Does Fox Farm come ready to grow in? i mean, do you need to add any perlite of something? |

Although Fox Farm comes with perlite in it, many growers will add about 20-30 percent. Fox Farm does come "Hot" (A lot of nutrients) which can burn a seedling trying to establish it self. Start in a soiless mixture, then transplant into the fox farm. My suggestion would be to go with a 60/40 soil mixture 60% Promix, or Peat Moss 40% Soil 30% Perlite Dolomite lime (For PH stability) you should be golden after that |

Ive been using Fox Farm Ocean Forest and I add nothing to it and the girls LOVE it. I have used it for seedlings all the way to harvest.
DO NOT add any nutes for 4 weeks. It has enough to last that long, but dont forget to eventually start adding nutes again. |
