Hey guys, thinking about starting my first indoor grow, and read somewhere on this forum (I do believe) that it is possible to start a seed and grow it on 12/12 from the beginning. I'm looking to grow in a speakerbox, and stealth is of the essence (I live with my folks, and while they know, I still just want to keep it as small as possible). Would CFLs work in a situation like this? Also, what should I expect as growth? Is this even worthwhile, and, when done properly, can I expect a fair yield? I'm really just doing it for the flavor/high of good bud, yield doesn't really matter too much - I just don't like spending the cash on good bud. Thank you for any input about this method!

It's different fer sure. The thing about 12/12 from seed is that it's suppose to be like a SOG garden. So like 4 plants per square foot.

If you've got enough lights on them(50 watts per plant) you're looking at anywhere from 4 grams to a half ounce.

If you have a HID(HPS or MH) light, then the yield should/could be better.

That's cool I'll defintely keep an eye on your grow Pool - good luck- now are you talking 4 g to half oz. per plant? Or per the four?

id say per plant. 4g= you should give up and spend the cash to buy bud. 1/4oz=you have a small understanding of whats goin on. 1/2oz=already pretty good 3/4oz+ =your doing damn good for cfls. lol

4 grams to a half oz? what a jump..thats like me sayin im around 5 to 60 years old..

well actually its more like im 4-14 years old. but yea i see ur point.
