know someone who sealed there room raised the co2 to 2200(might be higher if interested i will give exact amount. ppm twice in a week and it killed them all,but you need co2.
Thanks for the tip trapper, unfortunitly I will not be running CO2 until the winter..I like the idea though, very interesting concept on how to eradicate them from the entire room!

My local shop recomended that I use neem oil with a product called penetrator, it is used in place of liquid soap. Anyone have experience with penetrator? Now if this is not the perfect set-up for a joke, I don't know what is!

This might sound weird, but it works.
#1 Nicotine.
If you have a License to buy, do it. If not this works as well.
I have had a mite issue in the past and what I did 1st off is just smearing or knocking off what I could via hands. It works for the bigger ones but 70%ish still stay and with a mother mite, she can lay up to 200 eggs in a matter of days. It started to catch up on me and then after a talk with my parental, a hort head of sorts and me being a 3rd generation greenhouse owner, we decided the best course was Miticide or a substance called Nicotine.
**Miticide in my opinion is NOT safe for your plants that are consumable. DO NOT TRY IT. Just wanted to put it out there in case you came to this conclusion.**
Just like what we smoke or chew guys, it kills, plain and simple. To buy Nicotine it requires a license and basically a FBI background check (well, it's what it feels like). We could not buy it so I did the next best thing. I bought a can of smokeless tobacco, straight, no flavorful additives. Will not drop the name of the brand but they are out there. I soaked the tobacco in 7ph water and in a few days I had the nicotine seperated from the tobacco and just drained it into a gallon of water, I'd say I put about 1oz of nicotine based water into the gallon jug then filled it up, poured it into a spray bottle, then with care, I sprayed the bottom leaves and anywhere else that needed it.
After 2 days of 1 spray I had no living mites what so ever and never seen eggs hatch into larvae. It left no taste or dis-coloring to the plant but it sure created genocide to the mite population.
Nicotine works, believe it or not.

nice man, I like the idea of extracting from one plant to help another, natures defense is usually a good one! I did end up just using neem, which is from another plant! And I boosted it with a product called penetrator..I liked the sound of it! So the first round the mites won, but I think I got them a bit punch drunk now, and will give them the KO in the next couple rounds! Thanks for all your help guys and gals! This is the kind of problem where this site rules, I needed alot of info from many sources and I got it right away...I hope this thread helps others in the future...When I did a search for spider mites I read about 5 different threads that helped me come up with a plan and a potential solution...Thanks again

Theres some stuff called "Bang" that you can use up to a few days b4 harvest. I dont rec that you spray so close to harvest but it works. If you have just started budding use a fogger. Pyrethium. Then followup 4 days later with a fogger that finishes them off. post treatment type pyrethium fogger. . I had spider mites galore, i have a few now but i control them with "Einstein oil", also "Insecticidal soap" made by Neudorff. Spray once a week with different oils. I use 3 diff types. Organicide (however you spell it) works great too. Dont forget to foliar spray your plants b4 nighty night time. I never use these products while the lights are on. Spray just b4 the lights go out or your plants might burn in spots or twist up.

But I did not see any talk about how this affects the quality of smoke when sprayed directly onto a flowering plant. Does anyone have some tips out there that you are willing to share? 60% of my veg plants are infested, and I just transfered a batch to the flower room 1 week ago. I see one plant that is in the flower room that has the mite, and 2 more that show signs that mites have been on them before. I plan on attacking them within 24 hours once I get a plan and supplies... I look forward to reading some replies in the morning!
