Default Seedlings and nutes!

When can you start giving a seedling nutes? Mine are about two inches tall and they have purple stems and have stopped growing. Help!!!!

When a seedling is growing you notice it the first week or two. Then it seem like they stop growing but they haven't. They are now building a root system. takes a week or so and then you see growth again.

Purple stalks could just be genetics but if it is not in the genetics then it is a sign of stress. I would continue with water until I saw signs of nutrient deficiency primarily light green leaf. Not the new growth but the existing leaf.

Then I start them at about 25% of manufactures recommended amount for a week or two. Then half for the rest of the grow.

You run into problems in the future, the answer to many of them is to flush and back off the nutes.


Chill, we all do it but try not to freak out.
