Default slamminsalmon's new stash 400 (otm & sweet tooth & guerrilla gold)
here we are again. not so much of a grow journal but an update.

i have a old time moonshine, sweet tooth, and guerrilla gold under a 400hps. finally went started using the fox farm nutes, and WOW. im using the bb gb and tb. wut an amazing difference. besides not having to deal with the stink of making my own guano tea. the nutes work incredible. when people say they can see the difference in a matter of a night, they arent kidding!

still really trying to work out a good plan of attack, as i want to keep this going. i have my veg cabinet as usual. its working just fine for now. the first thing i ran into is my pots are too wide around. i want to easily fit 6 plants into the closet but its closer to 4 right now.

or get 2 big pots. like kitchen trash can size. 20 gallon possibly? have 2 plants and stagger them each by a month.

its why i started the thread, i really need some suggestions to create a calendar. when to take cuttings. when to pot up. how to keep a good journal when it comes to your nutes. i want a perpetual grow.

also how do people keep their mothers from out growing their space? mine grow so fast, and start flowering lol so i just took a cutting from her and stuck her into flower. in the later flower pics you can see the 2 little ones in front. i hear you lose strength in your strain if you keep doing this. so i want to figure out how to tame a couple mother plants.

till now as a strain review. i have only smoked sweet tooth once, and old time moonshine a couple times. both are a hashy indica tasting bud. the old time moonshine is a dj short strain, and is also a little mutated. but after reading some supposedly djshort's mutated strains are pretty killer. its definitely the nicest budding plant at this time. the sweet tooth reminds me very much of the hashberry ive grown. small, full, and stinky! guerilla gold looks like it wants to be outdoors. depending on how she flowers and how the bud smokes. i may just pass that strain onto a friend and concentrate on otm and sweet tooth.

well its been fun. hopefully some people have some suggestions for me. much rep and much love for anyone who wants to contribute!

Whatup man... I hear ya on the buckets sizes... Thats why i have used 64 oz big gulps in the past to get them going... works fine but.. you gotta be on it with nutrients in like 2 or 3 weeks... I like it wider... So 6 is the max i fit using 1 or 2 gallon (not sure and the plants are sleeping right now..>LOL..) like i said.. go to homedepot and get some 1 or 2 gal should work... try and fit 2 rows of 3..... My veg cabinet is only 17 inches and i fit them in there...

as far as the vegging mothers... they should not auto flower.. unless they are autoflowering plants.. you should be able to keep a plant in veg forever....

as far as the height control deal .... dont be afraid to cut... and supercropping might help.... what definitely helps is toping and fimming while your growing out these mothers... it takes about a week or so before the topped part really starts growing tall...(which gives the sides time to reach to the top and sometimes pass. the top... then you top all of them and they all slow down for a week.... anyway..dont be scared to cut..

as far as the perpetual grow ... I kinda risk it a little...

see I dont have a 4th growing section for moms...

So what i do is before i place the plants into flower I get a few clones of each one and put them into the cloning section...2 weeks they go into the veg area... there they stay for about 7-8 weeks till they need to move to the flowering room.... 7-8 weeks veg time is pretty long.... So you have to get savy on the toping and supercropping and creat little bushes... so by the time you put them in flower youll have a nice set up bushes to flower.

Calendar? 10 weeks to a cycle of flowering... 2 weeks clonin....8 weeks vegging...

Usually vegging i dont even give it nutes till week 4 and so on... and then its very low doses.

not sure what your needing besides that type of deal.. LOL... but let me know bud we can sort this out man!

here are some pics...

hey guys! thanks for tuning in!

franco im thinking pots like you used there in the 2nd picture might work for me. wut are they called? where did you find em? does it matter that they are deeper than they are round?

i performed some super cropping but i didnt go nuts this time. just wanna see how the plants handled it. the otm loves it. im looking forward to busting some of those bitches down.

thanks for the input!

no problem... the 2nd picture are the 64oz big gulps you can get at the gas station... i do wish you could find better 1 or 2 gallon pots for the vegging area.. i have those exact pots you are using in the 5ht or 6th pic and they are much wider.... i bet with these others ones you could fit two rows.... if you go to home depot you can find them and they work great. if not try the 64 oz cups..but you will have to feed them sooner.

good luck
