turning outside dirt into inside soil
how can this be done is there somthing to look for how deep should i dig
even though i plan on useing nutes do i have to add anything

Im using dirt from outside, it dose just fine. it even has a buch of wood chunks in it to, i would just make sure it has airation. and Nutal PH. Flush it b4 you use it.

I didn't say I don't know. I said DON"T do it. It's a bad idea. Something a 15 year old would know better than to try.

Ok, you wanna use some old brown dirt from outside.
1. cook it in the oven to kill mold spores bugs etc etc etc. probably for 45 minutes on a high heat setting

2. test ph of the soil and adjust as nessecary with dolomitic lime etc.. this means you have to go buy a soil tester

3. Add a shit load of perlite for drainage cause your gonna make mud pies if you don't.

4. Realise this was a bad idea and go buy some premium soil or even a soiless mix at the hydro store so you can have premium smoke and not some dirt weed worth 10 dollars a 1/4 ounce.

There that better? Now you know how to treat your dirt.

Funny thing is most people who grow outside dig a hole and fill it with premium soil mixes or at least mix it into the native soil but if you wanna learn the hard way go for it.

The prime problem with outside soil is that it'll be too dense when watered down into a pot. If you mixed it with some potting soil or added perlite, it would be fine. Just be sure you don' use anything with too much clay, because that'd be suuuper heavy and dense, and would just throttle your roots. I had a plant going just fine in outside dirt in a pot, but it turned male, so..

Anytime you post almost anything on here, some person will come and scream bloody murder that you're out of your mind... how do you think weed lived long enough for a bunch of dumbass humans to get their hands on it? In chemically enhanced Fox Farm soil? Err..

Sure, you CAN grow it in some outside dirt shoveled into a pot but it won't reach it's full potetial....your gonna get mexican dirt weed quality.....and fox farms soil isn't chemically enhanced, it's organically enhanced.
going out in your back yard and digging up some dirt to bring inside to grow in is stupid unless you live in a forest with a nice laver of compost and leaf mulch on the ground.
