Ok so I can't get on the GrowFAQ page, and I'm thinking of starting a ScrOG grow very soon but can't get any info. I've head alot of success with normal grows, but want to try something new. If anyone out there has any history with a screen method your input would be tantamount to me having a successful grow.


Also I thought it could help the plethora of others out there!

I'll be growing with a 150w HPS in a hydro set up using bagseed if that helps

when do you top your girls before starting to train? and for a 150w the distance from the light to the screen should be 1 1/2 ft right - which is also the dimensions of the screen itself, correct?

No sir! no topping, just bend the plant top over under the screen if you want more branching. also you want to put the luight 5-8 inches from the tops of the plant(not the screen) hope this helps!

I'd say topping depends on the strain. sativas work better for topping under a scrog since they grow much faster. sativas just work better under scrogs in general. heavy indicas have slower growth and are harder to weave through the screen with its thick main stem
