| | Clones, Flowers & Weird Bugs | | Hello.
Here's a story.
On about 42° N Latitude. Back in the middle of June, cut some clones and let them live, or die, in dirt using only filtered sunlight through a window. They all lived. 4 + 1 in all.
Little white hairs are now on the tops. They are clearly going into flowering and have been for almost two weeks. Three are 12" tall in 12" Terra Cotta pots. 1 is about 5" tall in a clear plastic 12OZ beer cup. Plus, the emergency back-up from seed which is about 22" tall. She finds her home in a 5" Terra Cotta pot. Females everywhere! LOL
The grow space will be getting freed up within days.
Comments on handling these plants.
The space is 2'x6' and large enough to accommodate max 2 full trees - 3 or 4' tall. All 4 of these may live in harmony by 12/12ing them right off, even if they double in height. .
Keep 2 and 24/7 for a month then restart flowering - catch up on growth. Or, would it better to 12/12 all 4 right off?
To maximize yield is very important. No more grows for a while.
Also, during routine moving of the Terra Cotta pots from the Terra Cotta saucers, little cream colored, weird, wormy-like bugs were noticed living under the pots! They sorta looked like maggots although much smaller. Most of them died during the Blitzkrieg of Aerosol Raid MAX. No bugs were seen on the plant.
The feeling is the pots are contaminated with these creatures. This has to be dealt with before popping them into the enclosed oven.
The soil is Ocean Forrest "Planting Mix"; Bats and Worms.
Can these creatures be nuked? How?
Any comments are fine.
Thanks! |

Your answer makes sense. I've done some research. I'll buy some Neem Oil today. I'll Nuke everything!
Any comments on yield? Light Cycle questions? |

| | Try growing in something other than clay pots. They fuck up your moisture and stuff. They also are home to many bacteria and fungus cause there are so many pores in it that contain evil things that will kill your plants. Try plastic. |

| | Thanks for the clay pot tip.
I like clay pots. They "breath" and will air-out (Dry) faster than plastic. Plus, I washed all the posts in the dishwasher so they should be fairly sterile. I think it's the soil. Evil conspiracy from Fox Farm! LOL |

| | The 5 plants got nuked. 2 were transplanted. Everything got Saturate Bombed using "Garden Safe, Houseplant & Garden Spray by Schultz." Everything was hit with Fox Farm "Grow Big", "Root Stimulator" and Flora Nova "Grow" too.
The two transplants are now in plastic, per recommendation. 3 still in clay.
Now, there are a total of 5 trees in heights of 5", 10", 12", 13" and 23".
The grow space still has not been freed up. Maybe another week. Maybe two.
Meanwhile, these 5 are beginning to flower - little white hairs.
If the grow space frees up by the end of the month, would it be OK to put the Trees into 24/7 light schedule till the end of September? Then, 12/12 till Christmas!!! OR will they stress out and die or turn male or?
Thanks for the comments so far. |

| | fdd2blk,
Hey. I looked for bugs today. There was only one creature under only one clay pot. Another Air Raid was called for.
The infestation seems to be under control. Thanks for the comments. |
