What kind of bulb are you burning ,my shitty lumiteck wont fire my Hort. eye.Fuck LUMITECK,Im back to using my old faithfulls and have two new lumitecks 600s in the fucking floor.I hope someone gets their lights to fire but I had to send two back and the so called ( lumiteck support) will not return your phone call Good luck getting your money back, you better take that junk back,I fucked up and bought mine on line at hydo wholesale 5 months ago

No decent inside grower wants a ballest that wont fire an eye.Mine fires normal HPS fine but who wants to use a 30 dollar bulb, thats a not for me

you're damn right i did!! they are willing to take it back and ship me a new one... no problems from them so far; but they would like me to try another bulb before that.... which i dont have access to locally... have to order that too

I finally got it all sorted out today.... I have yet to test the ballast from HTG, but the lumatek that I bought was returned, and the seller said it fired fine for him. So I had him send it back with a new bulb... fired right up. And their claims are true.. whisper silent. Now it appears I have 2 good ballasts.... i guess now i need to get started again; and then expand....

I should be starting some fem Violator Kush (barneys farm), a few fem WW (seedsman), and another attempt at some hijack (mythical).... Keep an eye out for the new thread

My 600 is great, totally silent and very little heat. Never tried to fire an eye, but sylvania's work fine, and they are next best thing to hortilux i think. Can you confirm that they won't fire up an eye? Is this true for the newer models? I would get one but I'll wait for my sylvania to wear out first.

I dont have enough experience, but I have heard that from a few sources, including the seller of my ballast... my old bulb was an 'agromax'.... lasted a whole 4weeks
