RollingJoints 2.0 Grow 300w CFL Church & Bagseed

Hi everyone this is my new grow.

Im using 300w blue spec cfl and i also have a 18w TT flouro.

Here i have the church and a bagseed that i thought was pretty nice so i decided to plant one.

Im using Canna terra pro soil & nutes.

Before I used a 400w hps which was too much to handle on the electric bill! So now I have 2x 300w cfls (blue & red) 2x 125w and 2x 26w cfls and the 18w TT flouro. I shall be using them during the grow.

Heres some pictures of how its going.

You should try to hang those big bulbs horizontally so that most of the light is being shined down onto the plants and not onto the walls like it is now. Good luck dude

not bad. i think the cfls will work fine and hurt a lot less on the bill lol good luck and keep this updated

That and u could make a hood or buy one but there are some creative cheap ways to make them yourself in the DIY section

Shouldn't that bulb be a little closer to the plant? I would put it at the same height as the flouro tube. Looking nice though man, nice upgrade

Yeah i lowered it and its as close as can be, not hot at all which is very helpful.

bout how old are your plants.I'd say the big one 2 weeks,small one 1 week...look nice.Like the setup.

Here we are the update has come and im glad to say they are growing well.

They are now 2 weeks old, the bag seed is only 3 days older than the church so they are almost the same age.

I will start using the nutes for them now, canna terra vega as i read good reviews on their nutes.

Yeah its a shame that its only 2 because i can fit about 6 large pots in there but im still saving my fem white widow for another journal and another time.

Im going maldives with the misses on sunday for a week but thankfully i have someone to take care of my babies while im away.

heres google pics of maldives for those who dont know where, or what it looks like. Damn id love to bring some chron with me but they are strict as hell and im not having a baggie up my ass for 11 hours on the plane lol! jks

how can 920w of cfl use less electric than a 400w hps?
also you will get much better results flowering with the 400w hps vs the 920w cfl which will use over double the electricity!

when we talk about watts we are referring to the amount of energy the lights consume, 980w=over double 400w wether its cfl or hps,

Well... 900w of CFL aint rly 900w! 900w = What the light produce like but on the socket there is the real wattage value.

I have some 23 watt that do like; 100watt

so some people say they got 900w (which is true) but it only consume around 200w.
