Question Type of light for flowering?

I have a 400W MH ballist and dont really want to get another one but would a HPS conversion bulb be better than the MH for flowering?

No, use what you have, a MH lamp will work fine for growth and flowering, and will provide more lumens than an HPS conversion.

I have a 400W switchable ballast MH/HPS, and both bulbs, i'm using the MH for vegging now, should i switch to the HPS for flowering since i already have the bulb?
