I got 2 plants on 12/12 for 10 days now, one of them was 20 inches when I put it in flower and is now streching everyday. It has narrow leaves where the other plant has a wider leave.
Both plants are showing good sign of buds all over the plant, but Im afraid the plant will outgrow the room. Before I started 12/12 the plant in question was a nice full plant but now its tall and leggy...close to 4 ft already.
Is this common for sativa plants?

400 hps is the light I use and I keep the light 12 to 18 inches from the plants

i got the same prob,,but 3 different strains all on same flowertime,,all within a week of each other in age from seed in soil,,same light,,one big bud is 52 inches another is 32,,and 3 two and a half footers,,so I angled the light and propped up the shorter ones to be around the same height,,i got 8-9 foot ceiling in closet,,just runnin outta things to put under the shorter ones,,gonna have to get constructive on they asses,,is big bud sativa or indica,,and what does this mean about my shorties

thats funny cause the tall one now was the shortest one and I had to put things under it at first. now its the tallest one and the thinner of the plants and just want to know if its gonna start putting on some weight.
