Default Keeping a Mother and Ventilation Questions
Ok so i have the growcab set up and right now ts only running on cfl's because during the summer it gets to hot( up to the 110 f area) with my 150 hps inside the grow cab. So basically i put all my plants i had outside and they are getting huge. Basically i want to start up my indoor againt using clones from the plants outside. I Took about 2-3 Clones off each plant and labled them so i would know which are male early from looking at the outdoor crop.

What im wondering now is wheather it would be a good idea just to keep a plant as a mother from around september till may next year? How long could i keep a plant in veg if i was to use it for clones? and would it be possible to keep say 3 mothers of different strains inside one longer style pot, i know that the plants dont like being put inside pots with other plants but im a little bit tight on space and i was thinking as long as i did frewquesnt enough root trims it would be ok maybe?

Also another question about my Ventilation situation. Right now i have a 80cfm inline fan as an outake, i have about 15-20 cf in top section of my cab where i flower. Its basicallly all going into and from my attic. For my intake i just have passive from some venting pipe that sucks aur from my attic. Problem i think im having is that the air coming into my box is to hot seeing as how the attic is probly close to 100f. Does any1 have any experience in this and knows wheather buying some more piping and having it hook up to a ventilation hole in the roof would resolve this problem. I could probobly rig it up with a conjuction box made of wood and have both intakes connect to the same roof vent maybe? I know the hps wasnt to bad in spring as the attic wasnt an inferno yet and having that hps now would deffinatly speed up my growing process. fell free to leave a coment or any advice

You can keep a plant in veg as long as you dont put the light cycle to 12/12.Just get the strain u want and take clones and replace it after so u dont run out of room.Veggin a plant for almost a year would be a monster.

Yup thats what you'll have to do. I am careing for my 1st mother plant right now. I took one batch of clones from it. But i wont need another batch for 3 more weeks. It's topped and LTS'ed and i still have to take cuttings and toss them out (this was very hard to do the 1st time, throwing away cuttings LOL) to keep her from growing out of control, so she'll still fit in her home.
