here is my 90watt tri ban ufo. they are sativa/hybrids. the two on the left are super skunk, the two on the right are shiva skunk. temps are real high 92-92F*. dont have a A/C so they are going to have to deal with it, they dont seem too stressd out from the heat. theY are two weeks into flower today. my last plant i go 2 onces of of this 90watt. it was a purple strian and i fimed it.

Nice looking plants with the LED. The LED heats up your grow space that much?

2 ounces is killer yield from an LED. How long did that grow take?

no the led dosent heat up my room at all only like 1 degree. its just hot where i live, around 107-110F* about 4 months i hade lots of problems with that grow, she hade a virus or somthing she keep getting locked up, she was just a bad clone. i use to have pics of her but i lost my memory card. she had 6 tops, and they were all tight bugs no fluff. these ones right here are doing good my friend has the same clones as me and he is using a 400w MH for veg and my 90w smoked his threw veg. i wont be doing sativas indorrs agian they get to tall.

Have you considered using a all blue spectrum UFO light, and then an all Red spectrum UFO light?

Blue for veg and red for flowering right?
Just like how some people use MH for veg and HPS for flowering.

How many plants did you use with the 90 watt UFO to get 2 ounces dry?

I was gonna go out and buy a 90 watt UFO light because temps in my stealth cabinet with 6x42 watt CFLs were getting too hot, 95-100F on really hot days. But I solved this problem using a glass shield.

i use red blue and ornge. i am about to get a new one with five bans of light. it has infored two other shades of red and and blue. i only grew one plant to get 2 onches dry, she was FIMed. it was a purple strain. i would have gotten more if she wasnt all mess up the whole time, my friend hade the same clones as me and was using a 100w hps and did do to good because his were sick to. thats was the slowest growing plant i have ever seen. but she did ok at the end 2 zips isnt to bad. people hate on the leds, but its all about the ones you buy, if you buy some cheap ones off of ebay then your going to get shity buds. if you buy from a good company they you will get good buds. you can just throw some red and blue leds and this is going to work. they have to all have differnt wave lengths and be place in sertin areas on the light. i was scared about getting a led because all of the bad things i heard so i did some homwork and found the best company and went with them, they give you a full 90day trial if you dont like it then send it back, so i was like what the hell and went for it. i love my led, more more extra heat and save tons on my power.

I'm sure the company would'n't mind it if you drop a name.... I've in an area as hot as you, using clfs and HID I need my a/c just to keep the temps to a tolerable 85... but the portable a/c is a kilowatt hog- more so than the 400 watt hps...

I've looked into this for this fact only but haven't seen people with any decent results to show - operating tempurate is like 1500 degrees for HID and like 100 degrees for the LED (don't quote me)

they just came out with a new 180w 5 ban. with info red. i am going to get it soon. call them talk to the sales guy and you will see they now their shit. i wonted buy any other brand but thats just me. it sucks once i bought mine a few months later they came out with their new five ban lights my friend has one and its bad ass. i was doing the whole portable A/C thing to untill i got the bill. i said fu%k that and made my plants deal with it.

they sell UFO that are all red or all blue, they have quite a bit of a selection also.

I think if you went with an all blue UFO for veg you will get a lot better yield. Just like how some people Veg with MH and then flower with HPS.

If you're gonna pick up another UFO, buy one that is all blue and use it during veg then switch to your tri band during flowering, I wann see if this will help with LED yields.

i rater put the money into a five ban with info red and use it all the way threw the grow, instead on waisting my monye on somthing that just veges. this light works great for veging. every plant i have done with this light veg real good better then my 400w MH.. i am only going to stick with the company that i bought my light from i have hade such good resulats befor from this light i woulndt change the company. if it ant broke then dont fix it. plus they give you a free 90day trial. and they were the first to make the tri ban and the first to make a 5 ban infored led light. the blue spectrume inst use that much by bud plants, they use more red then anything. i use to have a all blue led and a all red/orange led, but took them back because i didnt like them. this company i bought mine from has all blue or all red/orange. you should try that company you listed and post some pics of your grow. i would like to see what the all blue would do? that company that you said has good prices on their lights. but from my stand point i cant take that chance because its not all to do with the colors its all about the wavelenghts and placement of the led's its a real since to the led's and i have gotten good resulats in the past from my light that i dont want to change the company. the only reason i went with this led company is because they gave me a 90day trail, so i thought they must be good light to do that, so i got them and seen the nice big tight buds they make from my plants and kept it.

You got 2 ounces dry of one plant so I thought maybe having a all blue UFO would be like having a MH for veg.

Even with HID lights people use MH for veg and HPS for flowering. So I think a all blue LED for veg would really help your yield.
