Hey all, just joined and have a few start up questions. Me and a friend are a little skeptical about buying seeds from a website, if pots illegal, how can they sell female seeds? The other question i have is how warm an environment do plants need? Thanks all

As for your question on seeds, it depends where you order from, such as the vendors in amsterdam where its perfectly legal. And as for environment, the plants will do best with an ambient temperature of around 28 Celsius. You need to consider a few factors when growin cannabis. Water, light, earth, air, co2, and nutrients. Plants werent meant to grow indoors which means its up to you to replicate their outdoor environment as best as you can. Its illegal in Canada too, but there are still seed banks all throughout the great north. Dr. GreenThumb.com is a good one to try, as is SacredSeed.com. Both are located in Ontario, and have great reputations as seed banks, though it is possible Sacred may no longer ship seeds across the border, you'd have to inquire, i'm unsure.

thanks for the quick replies, so its illegal to buy seeds over the internet? how should i go about buying seeds if i live in the US? also, i guess when u buy seeds there will be a mix of male and female plants and i should just root out the males?

i dont know why the hell folks are scared of buying seeds online. if your scared to buy seeds then arent you scared ass hell to grow? slim chance of the DEA showing up at your door just becuase of some seeds. and yea some will be males and some will be females. or you could just buy some femenized seeds but they cost more.
