I bought the bubbleponics system from stealth hydro and was wondering if I add nutrients straight to the water. I had advanced nutrients 3-part system to which I added to water and watered directly to the soil. Now that im dealing with a 6 gallon tub, can I add these same nutrients to the water directly or do I have to use powdered mix. Will I have to clean the system due to salt build up? (I noticed salt build up with growing in soil which is the only reason I ask about cleaning).

add directly to the water, micro first. if you don't mix in the micro first, you'll cause a salt fallout (which is probably what you saw, not to mention that those salts were from the soil drying; there is not soil to dry in hydro)

to clean your hydro system, either run plain water through for a few hours, or pick up a product called florakleen and use as directed.
