i say this all the time, but, run your light over-night, you get off peak energy rates, maybe save 30%. also temps are easier to maintain.

I had 3 plants under a 150 watt hps and they grew freakin fast and big.. but two were male so i ended up flowering just one of them under that light... got 3/4 oz in less then 3 months

makes sense but will be tough since set up is in my bedroom. might be too bright..whatta ya think? ideas?

Your bill would be about the same, if not less, if you've been using 180w of CFL.

180w(CFL)-150w(HPS)=30w.

The 150 watt hps would cost $10.80/month if you run it 24/7 and ur electricity cost 10cents/hr

There was some small heat but not much.. i have an apt and put it in my closet and left my closet door open

the heat is the least of my worries since my grow box is positioned right under my air conditioner and when it does get a little hot the ac works pretty damn good without being directly on plants

i hear that if you call htg they will give you a better deal. any truth to that? 3/4 of an ounce from one plant from 150w hps? whats the average off 150w for a plant?

It was my first grow and i got paronoid so i chopped it a month early... i totally could have gotten at least 2 oz off of it if i had done it right.. try callin them and let us know
