Hey peeps its me and I am stumped with a question about something I have never seen in my 3 years of grows.
Ok on July 9th, I had 5 seeds (bagseeds) germinating.. well on the 9th of July they were all ready to plant. So I planted them (all 5 seedlings) into one pot. They did ok for awhile.. in fact one of the 5 seedlings like took to the sky like there was no tomorrow! But! It eventually died from the same thing as well. My question is... is why did all 5 of me babies die?? I know you guys are thinking.. well there could be a number of reasons... as I was thinking the same thing. BUT! I have never seen this before and I hope someone on here can help... heres how they all died. All 5 of my babies... eventually just toppled over (keep in mind they are only like 3-5 days old) when they fell over. Well.. I looked at the plants closely.. and the leaves looked SOOO green and healthy I wanted to eat them but, I discovered on each one of them.... just at the soil line.. the stems looked like a beaver had gotten to them. (PICTURE LOOKING AT A TREE WHERE A BEAVER HAS GONE AROUND IT). What could have caused this?? I'm really down because I had five beautiful babies growing for a few days.. then BAM! dead. *Any help is appreciated* -ganjaluvr

These are inside. Indoor grow. I have two plants left.. the one with the stem problem and the other one which has no stem problems but she's leaning over to one side like shes top heavy but I know shes not top heavy. Shes only like 5 days old now. Maybe a week old. I transplanted her into a different pot... so maybe thats why shes leaning over?? maybe suffered a little shock during transplanting? And as far as the one with the stem problem.. is there any way to save her??? I'm in the central U.S.A. close to texas. But once again my environment is controlled by me. Indoor grow. |

i dont know there bud, theres no pics maybe a beaver did get them Lol. But yo why plant all your seeds in 1 pot? i never fucking understood that. It just fucks with your roots, not a whole lot of room for your plants and less light gets to the bottom of the plants due to being over crowded. anyhow good luck with your shittho

Are you sure you are not over watering them? That's the leading cause of young seedlings dying. You should not plant in one pot, the root can merge and it will be harder to transplant, they would definitely increase the chance of transplant shock.
If they need help standing up straight use something to help hold them up. ![]()
