hey . i been on a 12/12 cycle for 17 days as of today , and nothing at all the only thing im getting is larger stipules and the internodes are swelling up . is that any type of sign of flowering ? im growing a giga bud hybrid. its already 2 feet tall and nodes are alternating. but thats about it and im sure it nots an autoflower and its not getting any taller then 2 feet . also here is a link to show pics of it . from the other threads . please help and i hate the 2 hr drive to check on it every 3 days lol

from what i understand, a mh bulb isn't good at all for flowering, i'm not sure if it will or won't flower with it, i just know it's not good for flower

m/h will work for flowering. if you dont have a light leak..... sometimes shit like this happends. my last indoor harvest took almost 4 fucking weeks to show females, and last time with same strain it only took 2. just be patiant and keep checking

Sounds to me like you either have a case of bad genetics or a light leak. In the case of bad genetics, this does sometimes happen. I have never personally seen it, but have heard many stories about plants that will not flower.

a MH is not ideal for flowering but WILL work. in my experience a MH actually produces brighter colored flowers than an HPS (which is the only advantage i can think of).

are you POSITIVE you do not have light leaks in your room? If you do then that is definetly what is keeping your plants in veg.

Typically a plant takes anywhere from 1-8 days to begin it's flowering cycle once the light cycle has been flippped to 12/12 so if your going 17 days with no signs of flowers something is DEFINETLY going on. good luck bud... My suggestion is getting new genetics and resealing the room. just my 2cents

i was in the room just to check and i had the person turn lights on outside and nothing came through so i dont know and im kinda pissed because its been growing for over 3 months bro and im getting sick of it actually lol . so now im using a red bulb and cfl 2700k and i seen people with cfls of 6500k and 2700k and theres still flowered and etc so im not sure
