Default Flat white paint-would flat white primer work???

I was gonna paint my room flat white, but Iv'e got a gallon of "Kilz 2" primer sitting in the garage. Be a shame to not use it, then find out it would work as good or better than flat paint. It has A VERY DULL finish.
anyone have any experience here.

kilz is good for sealing the wood and getting rid of stains. I'd still put a coat of flat white over it. VV
