Question Foxfarm Nutrient Question, 1st grow
This is my first grow and and I'm on week into flowering. Thanks to all the help and knowledge I've been getting here things are looking great. I've been using foxfarm nutes, and foxfarm ocean forest soil. I was told that cha ching which is a soluable nute that is used at the end of flowering really doesn't do anything. Does anyone have any input on this? As always any feedback is appreciated.

im really not sure i can answer your question. i use the fox farm line up as shown in the soil feed schedule growing in shunshine mix. i cant really say it helps or not becaue i havnt grown these strains without it. im happy with my results though if that tells you anything.

The one thing I've found with the Fox Farm nutes is that I've had to cut waaaaay back on the amounts as to avoid the burn... like 1/4 of the package directions. This is under lights in 1 gallon pots. Just something to keep an eye open for.

i agree. i was using half strength of the liquids and doing fine. then started with the solubles at half strength and got burnt leaf tips.
so i use the solubles at 1/4 strength. and sometimes i delute the mix even more when feeding by adding plain water with it. depends on what the plant needs at the time.

Be very careful when measuring the dose for the beastyz, it is an extremely powerful mixture.

I also use fox farms, but I bought the liquid concentrates as opposed to the water soluble. They are easier to mix and measuring is much more precise, I would recommend these over the water soluble.

When I 1st started I burned a leaf or two. So I did cut back. My G13's were the only ones that got nute burn. The others were fine. I seemed like the leaves would turn a really dark green and the plants would perk up as soon as I fed them. Since then I've turned it down a notch and all is well. As for the feeding chart I'm 2 days in to week two. So next week it's back to the grow big and I'll get to add some Beastie Bloom for the 1st time. I'm excited to see what happens. On my 2nd grow I'm thinking about going hydro. I do the watering myself. Which has gone from a 10 min. in and out job with the babies.... to about a 45 min job each day with the girls. Don't get me wrong I'm lovin every minute of it. It's actually kind of relaxing. I'll post some pics tonight. I'm just able to see the what appears to be the beginning of buds in some spots.
