I've been registered here for about a year now and just decided to get more involved on this forum. I use to have the grow tent that was 4 by 8 by 6 and i loved it. And I was running 2x1000w in there. It was my first grow and I managed to pull 3.6 pound dried off the 2 lights but I had to move cause I was gone for the weekend and my landlord went snooping around and I left my backdoor unlocked to my garage and he saw 2 little male plants i was keeping in my garage in a cfl box the hermi one of the females. Luckily he couldnt see what was really inside the house haha he probably would of freaked. Long story short I was in the middle of my second grow and i got a phone call from him saying i had to leave and i did and eneded up having to move my crop to my friends house and had to put all 45 of them under 1x1000w and it wasnt a controlled anvironment, no co2 no humidity control or anything like that and i only yielded a half pound . I then moved to a new house and just set up a smaller tent half the size of my original one just to lay low.

Here are some pics. I had to use my phone cause i had a few people over and I think someone stole my camera but I have another one but gotta get the charger for it which I am gonna be ordering off ebay after I post this. The bottom ones are the youger ones im raising til I can sex them. The ones in the bigger pots are the females and are about a week older. I think the oldest one is somewhere around day 21 i think but im not sure. I have a horrible memory . Im just running a lumatek 600w hps until the babies are all sexed then i will switch to the 1000w for bigger yields. I plan on having 25 -28 females under the 1000watt which I honestly think is perfect. Im using the foxfarm organics pack and synthetic pack. I bought a bunch of the advanced nutrient stuff but contemplated using it since foxfarm has treated me so well. But don't get me wrong advanced nutrients is suppose to be the best but I cant risk the outcome for this crop.

Thanks for looking at my first real post. This forum is great. I will be updating pretty frequently and will answer any question you need to know about these magnificant lowryder strain. For all those who bash the lowryder strain its very possible to pull 2 pounds a light IN 2 MONTHS!!! Im almost there and Im just using good old fashion soil with no special techniques or weird training .

Thanks for posting....I just received 10 lowryder #2xAK47 feminized seeds and would like to at least veg using t5'sd. I have an 8 bulb, 432 watt, 40,000 lumens T5 system coming....my first question is, should I use all 8 lights for the seedlings or just 4?

Once the seeds sprout, can I put them in a 1 1/2 gallon bucket or do they need to be started in jiffy pots?

As you can tell, this is my first grow of any kind-any help would be greatly appreciated.

I recommend you use at least 2 gallon pots cause the ak ones get a little bigger than the lr2 but yea no need for the jiffy pots cause they are feminised seeds. You can use 4 bulbs but i would just use all of them since the area is gonna be bigger since your not using jiffy pots so the brighter the better.

Day 25 (I think)

Transplanted a lot more of them. Seem to be growing very good and very fast. Starting feeding the older ones the fox farm synthetic open sesame. Fan has helped main stem get a lot thicker and stronger hopefully this leads to bigger yields. Will probably switch to the 1000w tomorrow currently on lumatek 600w hps.

Man what you have just said in your first post is amazing and what I want to achieve with my autos...Since your an expert on these, I would value your thoughts and opinions into my auto adventure....what do you think about my set-up and goals!!!! I just purchased; 10 Auto AK47, 10 Auto AK 47x Auto Hindu Kush, 10 Auto Ak47 x Auto Blueberry and 10 LR2...and about to get 5 Fem White Dwarf....(looking for a high female to male raitio!!) anyway's My goal is to get 1.5oz-2oz per plant dry!! from 20-25 females starting in 18oz cups or 5" starter pots under 20/4 HO T5's blue spectrum 4 bulb, 4' lights and finish off under 18/6 in 3gal bags...also, 1 female of each strain for seeds, (may do some crosses!) I will be using a Homebox XL grow tent, (56"x 56"x 78.75") with lumintek 1000 ballast, a 1000 hortilux HPS, CO2, 6" backdraft damper, 160cfm in-line duct fan, (for active air intake) a 293CFM TD-150 in-line fan for light, a radiant 6 AC reflector, 2 hydrogen Ice box Heat Exchangers, [one on each end of reflector] (first one is to water cool the 1000hps via a 1/2hp water chiller & 800gph water pump, while the second will also be connected to the 1/2hp water chiller but have a separate 800gph water pump and thermostat controller...no need for portable AC!!! <<<second one will cool the room tent is in while providing cool air for the active intake and intake of light at the same time!!!) 409CFM windtunnel fan + a Can 66 for odors, either two 6" oscallating fans or one 12" one for air circulation, Fox Farm O.F. Soil with perlite, FF 3 pack along with FF open sesame, beastie bloomz and cha-ching, black strap molasses and Advance Nutrients Final Phase for flushing...a lil superthrive in the "so-called veg stage", (first 3-4wks) along with some Advance Nutrients Voodoo Juice, Phirana, and tarantula for roots......Going for that 2lb every harvest, (2mo) but with a twist....Going perpetual harvest!!! every 5wks!!! WHATTA YA THINK? WILL IT WORK? DO I HAVE THE RIGHT SHIT?? TO GET WHAT YOU GETTING???????????? THANKS AND ++REP TO YA! Oh, sorry for the essay...LOL!

Sound great, You should use 2 gallon square pots. And as for the all those nutrients I recommend just use the 6 fox farms you got. Follow the feeding schedule but give it half of whats recommended until they get to their full size then give it 3/4 strength. Never give it the full strength especially the synthetics. Feed with every other watering. Make sure your ph is right from whatever water source your getting it from. Other than that you have all the right stuff. Try to keep your temp around 75-85 degrees at the max cause you have co2 which it can be hotter. Humidity
at about 45-60% at the most. Also you wont get 2 ounces but u might get 40-45 grams off the lr2 and ak47of hardball if u do it right but as for the blueberry its not a high yielder. And i have yet to try the hindu kush and white dwarf. Let me know how they turn out. You should pollinate one of your white dwarf and hindukush and maybe we can trade seeds =). I got about 2 thousand seeds with lrs, ak47, and blueberry and i think i might of accidently crossed the lr2 with ak47 cant wait til try those out

I really see no difference in the way you grow auto's compared to regular plants. Only difference
is its life span is much quicker and no need for 12/12.


You just dont really do veg ferts as much because you
cant fert premature plants and by the time they are mature they are already flowering.


I did get a couple
feedings in of 10-10-10 but really just be prepared with the bloom nutes.


I would like to see how the blueberry turns out never tried one of those...


The best yielder in my mind is the 47
I have seen a few really good growers pull off 2-4 ounces off these plants.

Yea they might off got that yield but not when you have 25 plants under one 1000w. And i've only seen that kind of yield off of hydro. Yea i've never grown regular size plants so I really wouldn't know the differences in growing them but like anything else its not as easy as it sounds.

yeah man not near as many plants as you... they narrowed it down to about 2-3 under a 1000 hps.

Yea I honestly think with these the more plants you have the higher the yield. But most people only get like 4 or 5 females cause they just order the 10 pack and no one ever does a seed run. I glad I did all of my seed runs cause i read somewhere their not accepting credit cards from the us anymore for dr. chronic.
