Is the fan outlet the same diameter as the hose inside or is it reduced in size?

could try a small evaporative cooler, a lot cheaper than an A/C, should be good enough to drop temps a few degrees but will raise humidity also.
more airflow i reckon would be your best bet tho
even just pointing a a small fan at the light blowing the heat up to the exhaust should help a little

I like the idea of a small perhaps 6" desk fan pointed straight up to carry heat faster to the filter. Cutting it back already dropped 2 degrees. I think I might of got it dialed in. Thank you everyone.

You need to air cool the light in order to control the rest of the space, there are no short cuts. Do not spray them every hour to cool them down. Think about it, your in the hot sun and there is fog in the air, I bet you can't breath, the sweat stays on your skin. Same for your plants, except they transpire instead of perspiring. This is why you don't water the lawn at 2:00 in the afternoon. It would be a shame after all you have invested for you not to get the cool tube and finish the job. VV

Why do people who grow indoors have to keep it below 85 degrees and people who grow outdoors have their plants see whatever it gets to outdoors,.. like 95 degrees?

Good point. 95+ is too hot, but anything under that is fine. My 1st grow temps were often in the 90's with no problems at all. If your topping out at 85 or anything below 90 your good. As long its not constantly in the 90's and bone dry I wouldn't worry about it at all.
You could definately use a better fan though. Those cheesy inline fans are not meant to pull (or push) air though a filter like that. Your probably not getting a 1/4 of the CFM rating of that fan. Get a centrifugal fan like > http://cgi.ebay.com/New-6-Inch-Inlin...3A1%7C294%3A50 Not that exact one though, I didn't research the price or the seller lol. just showing you the style.
Good luck.

its simple really...marijuana grows at its best with the temp. in the high 70's... with indoor growing what you want to do is make it as close to perfect as you can. weather it be lights, soil, temp, ect ect...will it grow at 95 sure, but it will grow way better at 78..

as for OP. that fan it not doing its job, as others have said get a real one.

you can all ways AC the tent. DO NOT get a evap. cooler it will put your humidity way to high in that small of a place on big tight buds, that can end up as mold..
get a small personal ductless AC. most have at least 3 settings and you can fine tune it to your tent..now because of how a AC works (you know the heat has to go somewhere) just put on the outside and make you a duct to take in the cold air the room your tent is in will take the little heat and your tent will get the cold air..

Ok, so how do I cool my light? Its not a cool tube. I get 192 CFM for my inline fan. I don't believe its meant for cooling, its meant for extracting air which it does well, I've blown smoke inside and it sucks it up like a vacuum. I think I need a better intake fan instead of the box fan on the side of the tent. Yes I have seen sucessful grows when there was a real heat factor, but the quality and yield weren't optimal. I also don't want to heat stress my plants, and have possible sexual dysfunction. (hermies). A AC unit is out the question. So.. Another fan perhaps? I think I'm just going to have to deal with the 84.4 it averages at. It does down quite a bit at the lights out period. If anyone knows a way to cool my light ++++ REPP!!
