I've always gone on the assumption that we indoor growers are trying to duplicate Mother Nature. I would think if urine is good for plants, rain water would be yellow.

haha yes i would use pee way b4 i ever used rain water first of all rain water is a bunch of evaporated pollutants that go up and come back down 2nd of all most rain now with all these pollutants is acid rain which derive nutrients from soil

Yes Urine is good for plants to an extent. at least parts of urine are (uria is a good thing to plants as well as nitraits) but the abundance of ammonia is detremental to plants.
The Biggest mistake that "Organic" growers make when using teas and such is that the don't let the teas ferment long enough to eliminate the ammonia from the tea.

well someone said yellow urine is from dehydration, dont get dehydrated then, i drink plenty of water, and not since i was a child have i had a deep yellow urin, most the time it does look like the color of rain

Well I couldn't let this subject go by without saying something. I found a link, that I think most of you expert growers might be interested in. The question is how true is it, and would you recommend using it as a last resort.

I suppose in the wild, plants expect to get pissed on. For all we know they may well enjoy the odd golden shower, may find it quite refreshing. Maybe we should try shitting on them as well...
