    You could try wiring a light dimmer via a project box from radioshack, so that instead of dimming lights it would control the speed of the fan. As a safety precaution make sure the wiring is sound by first testing via a battery power supply. Radioshack will have everything you need except for the light dimmer dial/switch.

    you need a resitor as in a light dimmer make sure its 12v and 12v fan if you use a 12v dimmer and 110 fan then your shit is gonna melt or short,
    growing weed is illegal in most countries except the great nation of amsterdam ( yeah i guess thats a city but i don't know what country its in, lol)

    Thanks for posting this. It made me realise that I have an old light dimmer in my room that i can just run my fan straight through. Cheers
