Hey everyone,

just wanted to see what ur guys' suggestion would be for a good, cheaper ph meter for soil growing. i know good and cheap doesn't go together. i have one of those 3 in 1 ph tester's i bought for like 10bux and i swear no matter what it reads 8ish and i know that it's gotta flucuate.

any good digital testers out there for soil growing?? any for about $35??

The cheapest ones I've seen were $49. look on amazon.com

You can get a good PH checker at your local nursery ... right there along with the moisture meters. They are inexpensive too.

PH of .7 in soil is fine.

Vi, are you talking about a digital one or analog.
Because I do have an analog Ph meter, I bought in a nursery for $15, but it seems very inaccurate. I heard the digital ones are very accurate and are therefore more recommended. But all the nurseries I've been to, don't carry those, only the cheap analog ones.
