arrid, i don't want to sound brash, but this is a bad idea; not enough co2 to do any good, and a waste of time and money...

you can easily make a homemade co2 generator with water, yeast and sugar.

i use one packet of bread machine yeast with five cups of sugar. this will work well in a gallon jug, fill it about a third of the way up with water (after the yeast and sugar are in) these last for more than a month, and when they slow down, just add more sugar, and they're good for another few weeks.

KindPrincess, how do you apply the co2 and is it ok for a closet grow with no ventilation other than being open?

once you make the mix, simply shake the jug twice a day to keep it mixed. co2 will escape through the top. if you poke a hole in the lid you can run an air hose over the top of your plants (co2 is heavier than air).

best for places where there is no fresh air, it supplies a constant amount of co2.

So if you set up a good few bottles of the stuff you could get a decent supply.

Well the Glucose is used to make the plant grow more.. the o2 is just released.

Outdoor air has about 300 ppm of co2 in the air. With a co2 burner u can get as much as 950ppms. anything higher is risky and could easily kill the plants if not mantained. But the benefiet of co2 is it increases growth 20-65% depending on the room and time hes refilled with co2.
