Question For experts only
I over fertilized my plant 6 days ago. I flushed it also days ago, and its better. My problem is that I need to bring the pH up because its at 3.5 and its giving my plants an Iron deficiency.

I have organic pH up for soil. But the soil is still wet. It seems that it's not drying. Should I wait for the soil to dry or should I apply the phUp now?

It doesnt matter when you apply it. Raise it slowly.

Bring the pH up. Use pH up or a small amount of lime. Don’t overdue the lime. Lime doesn’t work immediately and will keep raising the pH for a few weeks. If you use too much you won’t be able to get the pH back down.
It’s better to use Dolomite Lime because it has magnesium, which MJ plants use a lot of. All the different limes have calcium, but only Dolomite has magnesium. Dolomite takes longer to take effect, but last longer. Hydrated will react faster if you need to make a quick change with the pH. Some like to mix them half and half when quicker changes are necessary. If you use the same medium when you transplant, mix a small amount of lime right into the soil. Lime works best when mixed with the soil because it sticks. By that I mean it acts sticky and doesn’t water into soil that well. It also doesn’t flush out. Use one tablespoon per gallon of water and water one time with it. When mixing it with soil, start with one Tablespoon per gallon of soil and test the pH many times throughout the crop so you can make adjustments to the amount you used for the next soil mixing. Better to use too little than too much.
Peace

you have to let it dry out first. the roots will start to rot if you keep adding water to wet soil. try tilling the top inch or so of the soil to help it air out. i squezze the sides of the pot to get the soil to crack open a little. hope this helps.

any recommendations on the soil. Something I could get at home depot or easily found in the US? I'm using miracle grow for african orchids. It was really good until I added nutes; it totally went out of wack. I mixed a quarter teaspoon of 20-20-20 into a gallon of water. Someone told me that was too much.

maybe some "fox farms" ocean forest. i've used miracle grow for years. it is touchy at first. it has a lot of nitrogen. that with the 20-20-20 could cause some burn.
