18/6 or 24/0 are the two most common... 18/6 seems to be more preferred between the two from what i've gathered, but usually cost (electricity) and temps can help you determine whats best for you

I personally go for 24- up to the grower basically

the 18/6 allows for better root development but 24/0 will speed up vegatative growth- to ea. his own

I go for the 18/6 for reason stated above .... and in the wild it get rest .... so I figure I'd do the same ...

yeah id say that 18/6 is best the plants need rest jsut like poeple do they develop a better root system and such
