Hey every1. I'm in the last 3-4 weeks of flowering 3 bagseed plants. There all about 2'6'', flowering under 4 T12 40watt fluorescent lights (all warm white 3000k btw). Their all looking nice, some alright bud production. My question is what to expect during the last few weeks. When can I expect the buds start to realy pack on weight. I'm not sure I can get my hands on a microscope by harvest (i know there only 10$ at radio shack, but no $). What are the best ways to tell when to harvest without a microscope? Also, my girls look like a indica dominant, how can i be sure how long to flower if there is say 40% sativa in it? All replies are welcome!

harvest by browning hairs then. 60-85% is your goal.
but still, it can be wrong because the hairs can brown due to other reasons as well.

you can't know how much time it will take based on indica\sativa percentage.
with your lights it would take a while, just sit back and relax

the best way to tell is when all the leaves startin turning yellow cause its the plant cummin to the end of its life cycle,

Hey Night Clap. So about how long would you say I have left to go if their at 5 weeks into flower today? I'm goin on vac. in June, their not gonna take that long are they? Also is it ok to trim some of the lower branchs this far into flowering? I thought they would at least stretch a little bit but they just stayed where they were and their not getting enough light. Just a waist of her energy to me. Will this promote bigger top colas? And I know fluorescents suck, and for the next grow I'm gonna try an SOG grow. Would a 400watt HPS light be efficient light for 25+ plants? If not, how many can i grow with it? Thanx!

duno bout the 400w doin bout 25 plants but answer ur question on the lower branches, yeah i dont it for my scrog promotes better air circulaton and ur right the plant use that extra energy to produce biger budz,

Thanx d@w$y. So even if I'm this far in to flowering, its ok to trim these branches? They have small popcorn nugs on em' but i doubt they will amount to anything. Will this add a couple days to my flowering time? Also, I've been reading up on sog, scrog growing, but I don't understand how you weave the chutes/branching through the screen. Care to shed some light on this d@w$y?
