Ok so my big hashberry fell out of the closet.... and everything is fine on her except one of the side colas. It has started to break from the stem. I taped it up, will it heal it self? Its the only thing that broke besides like 3 leaves.

Ha! The same thing happened to me about 2 weeks ago. One of the side colas started to split from the main stem, but it wasn't off completely. Honestly I didn't do anything to it except let the almost broken branch lean against the wall at the approximate angle it was before it started to break. And as of last night it looked fine, so I would say yours will be fine too. My side cola is still growing and each day I see new trichs, so I guess it's fine.

That's awesome news. Cuz she's only in her 3rd week of flowering. Did it stunt growth at all?

Eh, it's hard to tell. Mine was such a small side cola that I didn't really expect it to grow too large to begin with. So if that one branch was stunted because of the accident, it wasn't enough for me to care. The rest of the plant was fine too, no shock or anything.

I had a 23 Watt CFL in a small lamp near the bottom of my plant. I usually burn before I screw around with the plant. This day I burned some "Green Spirit" - Good Stuff. Anyway, I placed the light close to the branches - and then forgot about it! Then, I closed up the closet for the night!

LOL The next day 3 leaves were completely toasted and a few others, along with an actual branch, were toasted to a golden brown. Similar to what you might see on a campfire marshmallow.

It's still growing. 6 more weeks til Harvest!

Just an update: i tapped it up and staked it up, looks like shes still thriving. No stunted growth or anything. luckily I was home when she fell, if not i might have lost her. But we harvested 1 today so now theres a lot more room and no ghetto setup.

Most of the time (according to a trusted outdoor grower) as long as you catch the spot soon (within an hour or two) it'll do good. Unlike my poor late bloomer...cat snuck into grow room and had a hayday with that one...no saving the poor colas, they were only in 4th week.

that is if it is a serious snap in the branch, smaller ones wouldnt matter as long as more stress did not occur.

yes I caught it immediately.. im so glad I was home. Damn cats are sneaky little bastards! I have 2 who love to sleep in the grow room cuz its warm.

lol i wont let my cats past the front door of the grow for that very reason glad to see you saved her tho
