Ok well this is my first time growing and i think im doin pretty good so far so i got a questions now i started with 5 seeds and a clone the clone is doing great and the seeds are doing good aswell now ive had them under 4, 4 foot fluros now i want to kno if i can keep my clone under the fluros for good and use it as a mother plant would i get as many cuttings as if i where to have it under a MH or HPS?

Sure you can, just keep the lights at 18-24 hrs. Don't take off too many cuttings at once.

ok so how many cuttings would you take off? ill post some pics 2morrow of the lil setup i got going on but yeh now i realize my plant will wanna grow tall i topped it last week....how many times can u top a plannt? as many as u want?

Once you top her, all the hormones will shift into the lower branches causeing them a burst of growth, so wait one week after the top then take off 4-8 bottom cuts. They will be great clones. Wait another week or two before taking anymore clones. And you can top any branch to stop its growth and allow other to catch up with it.

Another thing is if you can, wait until she is mature before taking cuttings. Wait for the branches to alternate instead of straight across from each other.

thanks for the info ill take some pics and post them up for 2morrow so what you mean i can top anybranch? like if i top that branch others will grow and catch up to it?

Yep. After I fim and one branch starts getting bigger than the others I wait for it to get at least 3 inches higher then I top it and the others will catch up within 2 weeks easy.
When you top a branch it has to repair itself before it can start growing again, so the other branches get extra juice and really GROW.

ok i think i got it down pat sorta but theres many ways to top or fim a plant? imma most pics today and show ya my setup under the fluros
