i started a new strain 121 days ago... I want this mom to produce buds but I also want 1 cutting off of her to start making constant clones..... CAn I just keep taking cuttings from her to start a few mroe moms, and only harvest the top cola bud? thanks

I'm not sure I understand your question. In any case the answer would be yes, but, it is a lot more difficult to root and grow clones from a flowering plant. I just got done doing this with some widow clones I had taken from flowering plants. It has taken a couple of months to clear all of the old flowering off those plants. I finally got them all back to veg yesterday and now I'm moving them under the hids for a couple more weeks of vegging to get them nice and healthy before I put them in flowering. It does require some patience and may be easier to just order new seeds but I needed the experience.
I did take 40 clones off the vegging plants this time. I will save a couple of these new clones for mother plants. And that should put me back on track. VV

Grow her 'til you can take some cuts. Take the cuts and root them...probably a 7-10 day gig... then when you have rooted clones throw "mom" into 12/12, bud her, chop her, smoke her...enjoy her.

in the meanwhile, those little clones you took from her will be able to offer you more clones...and when those are rooted..repeat the cycle...

over and over and over.....

Just make sure you have enough clones so that if something were to go terribly wrong(not saying it will) your strain would continue to live and thrive. In other words, be prepared. Good luck.
