yea I am letting mine veg for a bit now as was not getting any females on 12/12 from seed. Would like to try with clones some day.. Still going to try only a short veg period of a couple weeks tho

Very cool thread. I am going to do a batch of clones like this. I think I may just lollipop the tops and focus on the cola. You could really make a small perpetual yield like this

ive been away for a bit, but my 12/12 ventures havent stopped... i had a great outdoor harvest by the way... YUM!!! here are some pics not the best quality but ill get better more detatiled pics up in a few days... and yes i am trying a DWC system on a 12/12 grow, so far every thing looks great. like i said ill put up more detailed pics later but here are a few to give u the jist of what i got going

Ok, brand new here. Been reading Rocket's 12/12 journal and was inspired by it - a lot! Friggen awesome, dude. Anyway, this is my very first ever grow. I know I have a lot of learning to do. And I am very low budget right now. So I decided to try a few bag seeds out just to get the feel for what growing is like. Don't want to invest too much money into this until I feel like I know what I'm doing. Anyway, I'm on day 34 of a 12/12. I started with 5 seeds. 3 of them germed. One turned male on day 28 so he's gone. Now left with two ladies on day 34. Since they are random bag seed, I know they are diff strains and gonna grow way different. And that has proven true. Number one girl (which is named "mid" because she was always in the middle size-wise until after the tall one was pulled for being a boy) stayed a few inches taller than the number two female for the first month, but in the last week number two (tiny underdog, as i call her) has stretched and grown to be nearly double the height of number one! One is 7.5 inches, two is 13 inches.
This morning, after reading more of Rocket's journal, I made sure the tops of both of them are even height-wise. So, hopefully that will help.
I'm adding a couple pics. One of each girl. Now, don;t laugh, ok? I know I'm new and clueless!! This is more or less just an experiment to see if I COULD do it and what it might be like, yk? Anyway, here are my tiny girls on day 34.

I'm running a side by side of kush in 12/12 and veg and flower. Never having grown 12/12 I thought I'd ask you folks a question. What nutrients? Since the plant still needs to grow and at the same time it's flowering I settled on 18-18-24. That seem right to you? Or should I go high N for the first month and then low N? Your input would be very helpful in a fair comparison.

dont forget just because you are in 12-12 it will still need a veg food til it flowers, it wont flower until its ready to, as far as nutes go i say give it what it needs when it needs it, if it has to have nitrogen then give it because in 12-12 from seed you need to keep all the leaves you can as long as you can as there wont be many for a start.
