Mine do the same. To the glass and stop. I often wonder if I am raising the light to fast? could be it? star trek has a tracktor beam? maybe my lights a pot beam?

The thing is, i am stuck with only bag seed, i can't order any seeds so i never know the actual strain, and unless it's possible to take a clone from a plant on 12/12 (if it is, that's great news and i would love to be directed to a thread that describes this), that isn't possible for me either... i don't know... i'm a noob.

your next boy save and do a seed crop then grow your own strain.

I got a couple clones to root of a plant that was in 12/12 for a few weeks.. Took a little while but it worked. I just took the cutting, split the end, stuck in water then root hormone and put it right into dirt. Took a few weeks but it did work.

The coupld plants i have in my grow space that i didnt do straight 12/12 i put in a small cardboard box with 2 40 watt cfl's Kept the light an inch or two about the plants for a month and they stayed that short. When i put them in the reg grow area they shot up... I'm a firm believer the plants for the most part are going to stay at the level of the light in veg stage. Try it sometime. You may be surorised. Believe it or not, i kept them about 6" tall by not moving the light up. They got thick stems and everything.. I'll try and find a pic.

I dont go by everything i read on here. I'm learning what works for me and trying to follow my own rules.

making seeds is easy as it gets... next you get a male let it grow..If you dont want it in your main flower space, move it into a separate spot under cfls until the pollen sacks pop..you can take a paint brush, get pollen on it and paint a brancj on a female and get just one branch to seed if you want. Of just leave the male in there and let it pollenate the rest if you dont mind seeds.. Its easy...just get the pollen on the fems and you'll get seeds.

I az done 1212 rooted clone b4 but when i kept da lights close like 2" i jus got short dumpy budz + day stopped reachin aft 4 wks so i jus let em mature an got 12g from da 2 dwarfs dis time i iz givin da new clones a 4" distance 2 c if it makes any diff.

I'm pretty sure taking clones would work. Might just take a little longer to root.

Here are mine 2 weeks into 12 12 how they Look

Could i get directed to a detailed thread about cloning, or could someone describe to me this process in details, chopping up my babies kind of freaks me out. Feel free to post it in my grow journal so we don't jam up this thread with extra information that may or may not need to be here (you decide, just trying to be polite to RR)
