Default AK-47 vs. Northern Lights

Which of these strains would be better for a new grower.
looking for the best all-around high, and also a plant that will not get too tall.
had this problem with my first attempt using bagseed, had to harvest early, learned a good bit and got some decent smoke though!!

grow them both. they have simalar growing habbits, but exhibit different traits. good luck

AK is a more sativa like cerebral and balanced high....whereas NL is a stony indica which can keep you glued to the couch. IMO, NL is easier to grow....
My favorite NL is Nirvana's.....I have grown out several packs (I have tried Joey Weeds and Sensi's NL also)...if you get the right pheno it can be a real blunderbuss sledgehammer to the brain high!
The best version of AK I have tried is Serious seeds....huge buds, which take a little bit longer to ripen than the NL!

I agree with sk3tch3....grow both if you can.....they compliment each other nicely!

ak-47 is THE shit. best i've ever smoked. you can pick up some f2's from joey weed for very little money. AK47 Joey Weed Seeds thank me later.

Hi Userf....
I am curious to know if you have tried Serious AK?
Joey has some really nice genetics at a very fair price, I have not tried his version of AK....I LOVE Joey's A-11

I like A-11 better than Serious's AK-47!

Apollo 11 better than AK-47?! you got me wanting to try A-11 now. joey weed makes its AK-47 F2's from serious stock F1's. i read in cannabis culture (if i remember correctly) how serious reworked the ak genetics to favor an indica phenotype (see cannabis cup awards). not the case with joey's F2's, at least that's what the high tells me. the herb i smoke is crystal clear.

Interesting....I have only tried Serious AK and Nirvana AK-48....

If you like an up and peppy motivating high with a pronounced sativa head, give Joey's Apollo 11 a try....one of my all time favorites is that Goddamn A-11.... I like to call it rocket fuel, and speaking for my personal taste I think A-11 is more potent than the two versions of AK I have tried.
BTW I have grown these all both indoors and out......

you do know that Joey Weeds AK-47 f2's are Serious Seed genetics, right? just googled Apollo 11 ~~~>HomeGrown420 - Apollo 11 on show grown by I33t fuckin a. very impressive. if you tell me you got a great yield i may try it.

stuck on this mothers finest at the moment.... super motivator, i dont even finish a bowel before my mind is wondering on things i need to get done, its very distracting...lol... and to balance it out i got the mr nice from sensi seeds
